What is Capture Sequence 03/35? |
| |
Capture Sequence 03/35 is a generic, abiotic, sequence of 31 nucleic acids. The complementary 31mer sequence can be incorporated into nucleic acid probes by a variety of methods (PCR, ligation, reverse transcription with special primer). This complementary sequence is used to tag nucleic acid probes so that they can then be detected by UltraAmp reagents. Capture Sequences on Dendrimer:
(Cap03) 5' - TTC TCG TGT TCC GTT TGT ACT CTA AGG TGG A – 3’
(Cap35) 5’ - ATT GCC TTG TAA GCG ATG TGA TTC TAT TGG A – 3’ |

Does Genisphere recommend a vendor for Streptavidin-PE used in Luminex experiments? |
| |
Yes, we recommend Streptavidin-PE from Prozyme. It is called PhycoLink SA-R-PE, catalog number PJ31S. |
| |
|
| |
How is the core UltraAmp reagent synthesized? |
| |
To learn about 3DNA dendrimer assembly, please visit About 3DNA |

|
| |
Can I customize the label and/or targeting moiety? |
| |
We currently offer custom probes for in situ hybridization assays. Please contact your Field Application Specialist for pricing or e-mail i[email protected] |
| |
|
| |
How many assays can I get out of the reagent? |
| |
For reagents designed for ELISAs, we provide enough material for one 96 well -plate, while for reagents designed for protein array assays, we provide enough material for 10-20 arrays. Up to 100 Luminex assays may be performed with the anti-PE biotinylated reagents, depending on the number of “plexes” per assay. |

What is the antibody crossreactivity for each of the antibodies used in UltraAmp reagents? |
| |
| Antibody |
Crossreactivity |
| |
|
| Anti-mouse IgG |
Does not detect mouse light chains of most mouse immunoglobins. Minimal crossreactivity with human IgG, however it may crossreact with other species IgG (Fc) |
 |
 |
| Anti-rabbit IgG |
None known, adsorbed against potentially interfering species |
 |
 |
| Anti-human IgG (H&L) |
None known, adsorbed against potentially interfering species |
 |
 |
| Anti-human IgG (Fc) |
Does not detect th light chains of most human immunoglobins, or with human IgM or IgA. It may crossreact with other species IgG (Fc) |
 |
 |
| Anti-Phycoerythrin (PE) |
None known |
 |
 |
| Anti-FITC |

Do you recommend a specific dilution buffer? |
| |
We recommend Binding Buffer 1 (BB1, Genisphere) for the dilution of any UltraAmp reagent labeled with HRP. Most UltraAmp reagents can be diluted in typical assay buffers like TBS, PBS, TBS or PBS with tween, etc. Please refer to the product insert for additional recommendations. |
| |
|
| |
Do UltraAmp reagents have an expiration date? |
| |
Yes, please check the expiration date written on the vial upon receipt. Use of expired reagents will result in significantly lower signal or assay failure. |
| |
|
| |
Are there any special storage conditions for UltraAmp reagents? |
| |
Yes, we recommend 4 °C storage. In addition, if the product is labeled with fluorophores, it should be stored in the dark. |
