		FFPE derived RNA successfully profiled on Affymetrix® 3' Expression Arrays using Genisphere Amplification and Labeling

A new dataset for the microarray community!

We used intact and FFPE RNA samples in our RampUP and SenseAMP kits for RNA amplification, and hybridized to Affymetrix® 3’ expression arrays and exon arrays. Download and view the dataset for more details!

		RampUP can be used to amplify and label both FFPE and Frozen RNAs. For Frozen RNAs, RampUP data is similar to Affymetrix data.

		RampUP enables the ability to resolve similar data from FFPE samples compared with similar fresh frozen samples.

		When comparing FFPE RNAs to matched fresh RNAs, Genisphere has excellent overlap of fresh/FFPE differentials.

Marligen Biosciences now distributes Genisphere’s labeling kits for detection of microRNAs on the Luminex® xMAP multiplex platform. The Vantage™ product line includes kits for purifying, labeling, and detecting microRNA. Marligen offers a complete system enabling throughput capabilities of over 100 samples a day, and is compatible with total RNA or enriched RNA including degraded RNA from archived tissues.

Invitrogen Corporation has entered into a license agreement with Genisphere, Inc. under which Invitrogen will become the exclusive provider of fluorescent microRNA microarray labeling kits using Genisphere’s 3DNA® dendrimer signal amplification technology. This technology, combined with Invitrogen’s Alexa Fluor® fluorescent dyes, is now commercialized in the new NCode™ Rapid miRNA Labeling System, available from Invitrogen. Any Genisphere customers who used Genisphere's FlashTag Oyster®-550 or FlashTag Oyster®-650 should contact Invitrogen regarding the new NCode Rapid miRNA Labeling System.
