Hands-on Wet Lab for high school students. Students will learn the practical application of Gene Expression DNA Chips, and understand the relationship between diseases (like lung cancer) and gene expression. Complete kit includes: 10 reusable glass slides, 6 dropper bottles that represent the genes to be spotted, and 2 dropper bottles of cDNA mixture solution.

Additional Materials Required: Hot water bath for melting agarose solutions – or hotplate with shallow water pan, Safety: gloves and goggles, For Documenting Data: camera for taking photos or colored pencils/markers for recording results
